Job summary

Sydney Trains is seeking a Systems Assurance Engineer to join on a temporary full-time basis through to May 2027. You will plan, design, execute and report on systems assurance and testing activities across Operational Technology projects, providing RAMS expertise to ensure safety and integrity of the Sydney Trains system.

You will lead testing efforts, manage test environments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while applying RAMS principles to mitigate risks and support project

Qualifications

• RAMS processes knowledge.
• Experience with high availability systems.
• Engineering degree and PE eligibility.
• RAMS and assurance experience in OT/rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute and report on systems assurance activities.
• Provide RAMS and assurance engineering advice to projects.
• Deliver testing to mitigate risks and ensure safety and integrity.
• Support major OT system integration projects.
