We have an exciting temporary opportunity until December 2027 for a Senior Test Engineer (Control Systems) to join the ATRICS (Advanced Train Running and Information Control System) Test Team within the Engineering Systems Integrity (ESI) section at Sydney Trains.
In this role, you will plan, coordinate and undertake the verification and validation of critical software and control system products that support the operation of the Sydney Trains network. You will also be responsible for preparing and managing technical specifications, test plans, test procedures, engineering reports and supporting evidence required for product acceptance and type approval.
Reporting to the Test Manager (ATRICS), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality control systems product testing in accordance with approved requirements, designs and scheduled delivery timeframes. You will also undertake independent verification and validation activities to assess software and system products against approved requirements, design specifications and operational needs.
