Job summary

Alstom in Perth, WA is seeking a maintenance specialist to support the Metronet C-Series Train Fleet. You will work from our maintenance facility at Nowergup and at the East Perth Operations Control Centre, assisting drivers and technicians with preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and defect reporting.

The role requires proactive time management, a WA driving licence, and a WA Electrical Licence or Mechanical Fitter qualification, with IT skills essential for maintenance

Qualifications

• Maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing and repair experience.
• Current WA driving licence is required.
• Current WA Electrical Licence or Mechanical Fitter.
• IT skills are essential.
• Proactive time management and team support abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, identify, and rectify faults in vehicle systems.
• Coordinate issues with Train Controllers, Drivers and Maintenance teams.
• Support reliability improvements and monitoring.
• Conduct post-maintenance testing and update Maintenance Management System.
• Assist with depot operations, including train movements and data interpretation.
• Raise and manage work orders for corrective actions on Alstom platforms.
• Monitor system health tools and contribute to service reliability.
• Cover on call and attend trains on weekends as rostered.
