Job summary

UGL Transport in NSW is seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance schedules for passenger rail fleets. You will work with procurement, operations and maintenance teams to balance safety, reliability and availability.

Ideal candidates have experience in planning, scheduling, asset management and using SAP or similar planning tools, with strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination or asset management.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Experience using SAP or other planning systems.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Continuous improvement mindset with safety focus.

Responsibilities

Developing and coordinating maintenance schedules.
Ensuring materials, equipment and resources are available when required.
Supporting fleet reliability, performance and availability outcomes.
Working collaboratively with operational and procurement teams.
Monitoring maintenance activities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Preparing reports and analysing maintenance performance metrics.
Contributing to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
