Job summary

UGL Transport is seeking a highly organised Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance schedules and resources for NSW passenger rail fleets. You will liaise with maintenance, procurement and operations to support safety, reliability and availability across New South Wales.

You will develop schedules, monitor activities, analyse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, asset-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, asset management, operations or logistics.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience using SAP or other planning systems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to safety.
• Experience in rail, transport, manufacturing, defence, mining, utilities or other asset-intensive environments is highly regarded.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to join our NSW Passenger Maintenance team. Reporting to the Planning & Procurement Manager, you'll play a critical role in coordinating maintenance activities that support the safety, reliability and availability of passenger rail fleets across New South Wales.

Working closely with maintenance teams, procurement specialists and operational stakeholders, you'll develop maintenance schedules, coordinate resources and drive continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to successful operational outcomes.
