Job summary

UGL Transport in Dubbo, NSW is seeking a highly organised Maintenance Planner to support passenger rail fleets across New South Wales. You will coordinate maintenance schedules, ensure availability of materials and resources, and work with maintenance, procurement and operations teams to improve reliability and safety.

The role offers a permanent full-time opportunity based in Dubbo, with the chance to contribute to safety-focused, asset-intensive operations and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, asset management, operations or logistics.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience using SAP or other planning systems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to safety.
• Experience within rail, transport, manufacturing, defence, mining, utilities or other asset-intensive environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coordinating maintenance schedules.
• Ensuring materials, equipment and resources are available when required.
• Supporting fleet reliability, performance and availability outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with operational and procurement teams.
• Monitoring maintenance activities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Preparing reports and analysing maintenance performance metrics.
• Contributing to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
