Job summary

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Major Maintenance Team. You will lead the delivery of discrete major maintenance and infrastructure projects valued up to $10M, spanning strategy, planning, delivery and handover.

Travel to project sites across NSW will be required, with roles located in Goulburn, Newcastle or Coffs Harbour. You will manage scope, cost, schedule, safety and environmental requirements, coordinating internal and external

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in engineering maintenance and/or construction of track and civil infrastructure.
• Experience with signalling and structures is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver major works projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major maintenance and infrastructure projects per ARTC objectives and governance.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, safety, environmental impact and maintainability through lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, risks and milestones, reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate approvals including environmental and planning approvals.
• Develop Project Management Plans to support successful delivery.
• Lead project teams and ensure work aligns with ARTC safety and quality requirements.
• Minimise rail operations impact during project delivery.
• Oversee tendering, procurement and contract negotiations as required.
• Apply ARTC’s Project Management Procedures across all stages.
