V/Line Geelong is seeking a hands-on Ganger to lead a team in track maintenance and renewal, ensuring safety, reliability and performance of rail infrastructure. You will supervise day-to-day operations and coordinate across crossings, drainage and assets.

The ideal candidate holds Cert III Rail Infrastructure (Ganger Ticket), Safe Working Certificate Level 3, and a current Driver's Licence, with site supervision experience.

• Mandatory - Valid Current Driver’s License
• Mandatory - Cert 3 Rail Infrastructure (Ganger Ticket)
• Highly Desirable - Safe Working Certificate Level 3
• Highly Desirable - High Rail operator - level 4
• First Aid – Level 2
• Site supervision and hands on leadership experience

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee rail infrastructure maintenance and renewal activities
• Supervise renewal of track components such as sleepers, rail, ballast
• Coordinate maintenance across crossings, drainage, earthworks, and assets
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of assigned track section through planning and supervision
• Conduct track inspections and monitor condition; implement corrective actions
• Promote safety by complying with policies and OH&S requirements
• Respond to OH&S concerns and provide leadership to the team
