V/Line Geelong is seeking a hands-on Ganger to lead a team in track maintenance and renewal, ensuring safety, reliability and performance of rail infrastructure. You will supervise day-to-day operations and coordinate across crossings, drainage and assets.
The ideal candidate holds Cert III Rail Infrastructure (Ganger Ticket), Safe Working Certificate Level 3, and a current Driver's Licence, with site supervision experience.

As a Ganger, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of V/Line's rail infrastructure. Leading a team in the delivery of specialised track maintenance and renewal activities, you will supervise day-to-day operations while fostering a strong safety culture. In this hands on leadership role, you will ensure risks are identified, understood and effectively managed, providing a safe workplace for employees and maintaining a safe environment for customers, contractors and visitors
Our ideal candidate for the Ganger role is a hands on rail professional with site supervision and leadership experience, backed by Cert III Rail Infrastructure, Safe Working Certificate Level 3, High Rail Operator Level 4(desirable), and a current Driver's Licence. Safety focused and proactive, you excel at delivering rail maintenance and renewals, identifying and resolving track issues, and leading crews to achieve reliable outcomes.
