Job summary

iQuanta Global in Brisbane seeks an experienced Project Engineer to support delivery of the ETCS Sector 1 North Project. The role involves engineering coordination across design, construction, testing and commissioning, with travel across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.

Contract: full-time, start Q3 2026, duration 33 months with extensions. You will report to the Project Manager, coordinate with ETCS engineers, Queensland Rail, vendors and delivery partners to ensure baselines and project

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering teams delivering rail infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate engineering activities in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Understanding of rail systems, signalling or ETCS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain engineering registers, logs and artefacts including RFIs, defects, design changes and test data.
• Support design reviews by preparing comments and tracking actions.
• Assist site works by interpreting drawings and raising technical queries.
• Provide progress updates and reporting to project leadership.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables and ensure alignment with baselines.
• Support issue resolution across engineering, vendors and contractors.
• Ensure documentation is complete and aligned with project requirements.
