Queensland Rail is seeking a Principal Signal Engineer to join the ETCS Major Projects team in Brisbane CBD on a fixed-term contract until September 2030, with a strong possibility of extension. You will lead signalling design, provide technical leadership, and support major rail infrastructure projects across Queensland, driving safe and innovative outcomes for the network.

Role requires accreditation, expert knowledge of ETCS Level 2, and a proven track record in signalling engineering

Competenze

High-level expertise in signalling trackside and design principles.
Proven experience delivering ETCS Level 2 signalling solutions in complex rail environments.
Current Queensland Rail Signal Design Engineer Level 2 accreditation is mandatory.
Current RPEQ registration (or eligibility) is essential.
Knowledge of signalling testing and commissioning principles is highly regarded.
Ability to lead and develop engineering teams and deliver commercially focused outcomes.
