Job summary

NBMLHD – Nepean Hospital in Penrith, NSW, is seeking two Staff Specialists in Radiology to join the Department of Medical Imaging. These permanent roles are offered full-time or part-time and will deliver radiology services across NBMLHD.

You will report to the Head of Department, supervise ultrasound, CT, angiography and interventional work, participate in on-call duties, and contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Fellowship/RANZCR or equivalent specialist recognition required.
• AHPRA registration or eligibility to register required.
• Commitment to teaching, research and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Report plain films, supervise ultrasound/CT/angiography and interventional work.
• Participate in on-call roster and imaging service for NBMLHD facilities.
• Supervise and teach junior medical staff; contribute to education.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement and department governance.
