Job summary

NBMLHD’s Department of Medical Imaging at Nepean Hospital is seeking two Staff Specialists in Radiology (up to 2.0 FTE in total) to join a growing region. Roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis and offer opportunities to report MRI and interventional work with teleradiology support.

You will report to the Head of Department, supervise junior staff, contribute to teaching and research, and participate in credentialing across NBMLHD facilities.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of RANZCR or equivalent specialist recognition.
• Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration.
• Sound clinical knowledge across radiology subspecialties; ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Report plain films and supervise ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy and interventional procedures.
• Participate in on-call roster and rostered imaging service with teleradiology support.
• Supervise and teach junior medical staff; contribute to undergraduate/postgraduate education.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement and governance of the department.
