Job summary

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) invites applications for Staff Specialists in Radiology. Join the Department of Medical Imaging at Nepean Hospital to report and supervise advanced imaging modalities, participate in on-call imaging, and contribute to teaching and research within a strong multidisciplinary team.

Fellowship of RANZCR or equivalent, and registration with AHPRA are required.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of RANZCR or equivalent recognised by the Board.
• Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration is required.
• Sound clinical knowledge in radiology and its subspecialties with ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Report plain films, perform fluoroscopic examinations and supervise ultrasound, CT, angiography and interventional procedures.
• Take part in on-call roster and rostered imaging service with tele-radiology support.
• Supervise and teach junior medical staff and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement, peer review and governance of the department.
