Job summary

South West Radiology is seeking an experienced Project Implementation Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of new radiology practices, site expansions and major operational implementations across our growing network. This role covers facilities, equipment, modalities and RIS/PACS, with travel to sites across Sydney and a focus on safe, efficient go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within healthcare or medical imaging environments.
• Experience opening or transitioning healthcare or radiology sites.
• Knowledge of radiology workflows across modalities.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, vendors and contractors.
• Experience implementing operational procedures and workflows.
• Solid track record managing timelines, risks and budgets.
• Knowledge of RIS, PACS, modality worklists and healthcare integrations.
• Strong planning, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed implementation plans for new radiology sites with scope and milestones.
• Coordinate clinical, operational, technical and facilities workstreams.
• Maintain project plans, risk and issue registers and decision records.
• Monitor progress and report updates to leadership.
• Identify delays and mitigate risks to maintain momentum.
• Coordinate readiness from planning through opening of new practices.
• Set up and test RIS, PACS, reporting, booking and telephony systems.
• Design end-to-end workflows for referrals, bookings and results communication.
• Develop and execute go-live plans with clear responsibilities.
