Job summary

SCR South Coast Radiology in Maroochydore and Caloundra is seeking a caring Registered Nurse for our modern radiology practices. You will provide high-quality patient care across interventional procedures including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and BMD, with training provided for BMD exams.

AP HRA registered nurses with IV cannulation experience are encouraged to apply. ALS is preferred, as is experience in surgical or radiology settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration.
• IV Cannulation experience preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse medical professionals.
• Proven ability to work as part of a dynamic team and independently.
• Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of care and service to patients, staff and Radiologists.
• Assist with Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) exams; training will be provided.
• Admission, monitoring and recovery of patients undergoing interventional procedures across Ultrasound, CT and MRI.
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed.
• Work across multiple Sunshine Coast locations.
• Apply post-procedure care, recovery and discharge procedures.
