Job summary

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) seeks a Registered Nurse for its Sunshine Coast Radiology practices at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Maroochydore and Caloundra clinics.

You will provide high-quality care, assist with BMD exams, and manage admission, monitoring and recovery for interventional procedures across Ultrasound, CT and MRI, while upholding safety standards and working across several Sunshine Coast sites.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration.
• IV Cannulation experience preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of care and service to patients, technical staff and Radiologists.
• Assist with Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) examinations. Training will be provided.
• Admission, monitoring and recovery of patients undergoing interventional procedures across US, CT and MRI.
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and observed in the workplace.
• Work across multiple Sunshine Coast locations.

Sunshine Coast Radiology is part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostic group, one of the largest Radiology providers in Australia with 150 practices located in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, SA, WA and New Zealand.

Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) has been operating for over 16 years on the Sunshine Coast, offering comprehensive practices with services including CT, MRI, Mammography, BMD, general X-Ray, Ultrasound to Nuclear Medicine.

With 13 clinics spanning the whole Sunshine Coast - including three hospital sites - we provide comprehensive imaging services across the region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a caring and personable Registered Nurse, for our comprehensive and modern Radiology practices located at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Maroochydore and Caloundra clinics.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients, technical staff and Radiologists
• Assisting with Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) examinations. Training will be provided
• Admission, monitoring and recovery of patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures. These are performed across multiple modalities such as Ultrasound, CT and MRI
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and observed in the workplace
• Working across a few Sunshine Coast locations.
• Sound knowledge and application for post procedure care, recovery and discharge.

ABOUT YOU

• Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration
