Job summary

Queensland X-Ray in Mackay is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This part-time role offers a stable four-day roster with 7.6-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, covering interventional patient care including biopsies and injections.

You will work across multi-modality imaging with on-the-job training provided; RN AHPRA registration is essential, with a focus on safe admission, monitoring, and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Full RN with AHPRA registration and current practice rights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary imaging environment.
• Strong time management and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the interventional care pathway and patient admission/ recovery for procedures.
• Monitor patients in Ultrasound/CT/MRI/Nuclear Medicine settings and provide high-level clinical support.
