Hunter New England Health is seeking a Radiographer/Sonographer for Armidale Hospital. The role offers a permanent part-time position with a 22.11 hour weekly schedule.

You will provide ultrasound, CT, and general X-ray imaging as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team. The role requires registration with AHPRA, NSW EPA licence and ASAR accreditation, with postgraduate Sonography qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
• Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
• Hold/current NSW EPA Radiation licence and ASAR accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Imaging services across Ultrasound, CT and General X-ray.
• Work as part of a diverse and collaborative team.
• Rotating 7-day roster including on-call duties.
• Deliver patient-centred imaging services to regional patients.

Requirements

Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent. Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold/ current NSW EPA Radiation licence and ASAR accreditation

Post graduate qualification in Medical Sonography and registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)

Participate in the Rosters, overtime and on-call duties as required by the site, and which may change from time to time

Eligible to drive in NSW and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances
