Job summary

GenesisCare in Rockhampton seeks a Radiation Therapist for a permanent, full-time role with a minimum 12-month commitment. You will contribute to a diverse case load, work with local doctors and staff, and develop expertise in SABR and DIBH techniques.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy.
• Registration with AHPRA and a Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk and implement risk reduction strategies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiotherapy skills relevant to level of expertise.
• Liaise with General Managers, Operations Manager and Centre Leaders.
• Coordinate with GCC Qld Doctors and local clinical staff.
• Gain experience in DIBH, SABR and expiration treatments.

More Specifically You Will

• Manage risk and actively work towards implementing risk reduction strategies

• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
• Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy etc.)
