Job summary

GenesisCare in Hurstville is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team. This full-time role offers a four-day-per-week pattern with Monday–Friday coverage and a competitive salary up to $128,887 plus superannuation.

You will personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities, promote a collaborative MDT, ensure proper administration of processes, and maintain professional documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality radiotherapy care.
• Strong communication and empathy with patients and colleagues.

More Specifically, You Will

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

We\'re Looking For Someone Who Has

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state-specific requirements apply).
