Job summary

GenesisCare at Mater Hospital in New South Wales is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a part-time, 12-month opportunity (3 days per week). You will deliver radiation therapy planning, treatment delivery and related clinical duties while supporting patient care and the centre's multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical competence across all areas of radiotherapy practice, including treatment, simulation and planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of radiotherapy and associated healthcare services.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state specific requirements apply).

Responsibilities

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning, treatment delivery and associated clinical duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team environment within the centre and across the broader GenesisCare network.
• Ensure the safe and accurate administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Complete all clinical administration and documentation requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold best practice patient care standards.
