Job summary

Jobstar is seeking a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our Morisset warehouse setup team, focusing on installation and repair of racking systems. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, assist with planning using drawing software (desirable), and help maintain a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires either a trade certificate or relevant experience, a valid driver’s license and own vehicle, and a willingness to learn. Central Coast NSW residents are preferred.

Qualifications

Trade certificate or relevant experience as a Trades Assistant.
Willing to learn and eager to gain skills.
Physically fit for manual labour and capable of handling physical tasks.
Computer literate and able to learn new software programs.
Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Reside within the Central Coast Council area of NSW.
Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to your own vehicle.
Additional favourable considerations include spray painting, welding, workshop environments, and MR forklift license.

Responsibilities

Assist in installation and repair of racking systems.
Work alongside experienced tradespeople to support project execution.
Use drawing software applications for project planning and execution (desirable).
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure safety.
