Auto Parts Group (APG) is seeking a results-driven State Sales Manager – QLD to lead revenue growth, market expansion, and sales performance across the state. You will manage the sales team, build strong customer relationships, and execute strategies that deliver measurable growth and sustained performance.

The role focuses on achieving budgets, gross profit targets, and market share, with operational management separate to allow you to drive commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in state or regional sales leadership (automotive, industrial, distribution or similar sectors preferred).
• Demonstrated success delivering sales budgets, revenue growth, and gross profit performance.
• Strong new business development capability and customer relationship management expertise.
• Experience leading and developing Territory Managers to exceed targets.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the QLD state sales budget and gross profit targets.
• Drive new business development and strategic account growth.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage Territory Managers and Customer Service teams.
• Strengthen key customer and industry relationships across the state.
• Increase market share through proactive sales strategy and execution.
• Analyse sales data, pipeline activity, and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.
• Lead sales training, compliance standards, and effective CRM/system utilisation.
