Auto Parts Group (APG) seeks a results-oriented State Sales Manager - QLD to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and sales performance in Queensland.

Reporting to the General Manager Sales, you will lead and develop the sales team, strengthen customer relationships, and own state budgets, gross profit, and market share, with operational management focused on delivering commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in state or regional sales leadership (automotive, industrial, distribution or similar sectors preferred).
• Demonstrated success delivering sales budgets, revenue growth, and gross profit performance.
• Strong new business development capability and customer relationship management expertise.
• Experience leading Territory Managers to exceed targets and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the QLD state sales budget and gross profit targets.
• Drive new business development and strategic account growth.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage Territory Managers and Customer Service teams.
• Strengthen key customer and industry relationships across the state.
• Increase market share through proactive sales strategy and execution.
• Analyse sales data, pipeline activity, and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.
• Lead sales training, compliance standards, and effective CRM/system utilisation.
