Job summary

Bromelton Quarry, part of Barro Group, seeks a Quarry Weighbridge Operator. The role offers an excellent base wage plus overtime and leave accruals. You will operate the weighbridge, schedule loads, assist with safety inductions, and handle daily admin tasks.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in trucking, quarrying or transport, and can work in a small team with flexible hours including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Operate computer-based weighbridge system and take accurate customer phone orders to enable delivery of products.
• Schedule truck loads to meet customer requirements.
• Assist with quarry safety inductions for contractors, truck drivers and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day administration activities.
• Multi-task and work under pressure to meet customer requirements.
• Answer phone calls and provide customer support.
• Work as part of a small team.
• Work flexible hours including regular Saturday mornings.
