Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a self-motivated Quarry Operator to join Kilmore East Quarry. You will operate heavy machinery, carry out day-to-day operations, and perform general labour tasks to support quarry production.

The role emphasises safety, teamwork, and reliability, with a Monday–Friday roster, overtime possible, and ongoing training within a global materials group.

Qualifications

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• A total commitment to risk management and workplace health and safety.
• Experience operating heavy machinery and working in quarrying/mining environments.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Relevant operating experience with heavy equipment; heavy tickets not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery including excavators, front-end loaders and dump trucks.
• Perform general labouring tasks such as cleaning, hosing and shovelling.
• Contribute to safe and efficient quarry operations.
