Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia in Axedale is seeking a reliable Quarry Operator to join our team at Axedale Quarry. You will operate mobile plant such as excavators, front-end loaders and dump trucks, conducting daily operations and basic checks.

The role requires a safety-first approach, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and experience with quarry, mining or construction environments.

Qualifications

• Experienced in operating heavy equipment.
• RII tickets are not essential but highly regarded.
• Quarry/mining/construction experience preferred.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to workplace standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant including excavators, front-end loaders, and articulated dump trucks.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and basic equipment checks.
• Assist with general site duties including cleaning, hosing, and material handling.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team.
