Job summary

Maas Group Pty Limited in Gladstone Quarry is seeking an experienced Quarry Operator to oversee daily quarry operations and operate mobile plant including Front End Loader and Excavator. This hands-on role requires commitment to safety and efficient site performance.

You will carry out pre-start checks, participate in toolbox talks, and follow Maas Group WHS policies. MR licence and White Card are required, and candidates must pass a pre-employment medical assessment prior to starting on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy quarry mobile plant such as front end loader and excavator.
• White Card and MR licence are required.
• Experience in a quarry environment with a proactive, organised approach.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant including Front End Loader, Excavator, Water Cart as required.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and vehicle maintenance.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant and equipment.
• Participate in toolbox talks and follow all site safety procedures.
• Support Supervisor with ongoing quarry operations.

Regional Group Australia (RGA) is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across regional NSW, VIC & QLD. RGA are seeking an experienced and reliable Quarry Operator to be based at our Gladstone Quarry.

Key responsibilities:

• Mobile plant operation including Water Cart, Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
• Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant
• Participate in daily toolbox talks
• Develop a thorough understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures
• Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Required skills and experience:

• Various plant experience including front end loader and excavator
• White Card
• MR licence
• Experience working in a quarry environment
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement on site.
