Job summary

Regional Group Australia (RGA) seeks an experienced Quarry Operator to be based at the Gladstone Quarry. You will operate mobile plant including Water Cart, Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator, and conduct daily pre-start checks.

The role requires quarry experience, MR licence, and White Card, with a proactive, organized approach. You will follow Maas Group WHS policies and report to the Quarry Supervisor on site.

Qualifications

• Front End Loader and Excavator experience required.
• MR licence and White Card are essential.
• Experience in a quarry environment is essential.
• Ability to take initiative and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant including Water Cart, Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks.
• Develop understanding of WHS policies and procedures.
• Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Regional Group Australia (RGA) is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across regional NSW, VIC & QLD. RGA are seeking an experienced and reliable Quarry Operator to be based at our Gladstone Quarry.

Key responsibilities:

• Mobile plant operation including Water Cart, Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
• Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant
• Participate in daily toolbox talks
• Develop a thorough understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures
• Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Required skills and experience:

• Various plant experience including front end loader and excavator
• White Card
• MR licence
• Experience working in a quarry environment
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement on site.
