Job summary

Regional Group Australia (RGA) seeks an experienced Quarry Operator for the Ralston Quarry near Coonamble, NSW. You will operate mobile plant including Front End Loader, Water Cart and Excavator, and perform daily checks and routine maintenance.

Join a safety-focused team, adhering to WHS policies and toolbox talks. A White Card and a valid driver’s licence are required, with RII tickets preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating front end loaders, excavators and other mobile plant.
• White Card and a valid drivers licence are required.
• Experience working in a quarry environment is preferred.
• RII tickets are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant including Front End Loader, Water Cart and Excavator.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Follow WHS policies and procedures and Quarry Manager instructions.

Job description

Regional Group Australia (RGA) is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across NSW, VIC & QLD.

RGA are seeking an experienced and reliable Quarry Operator to be based at our Ralston Quarry near Coonamble, NSW.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Mobile plant operation including Front End Loader, Water Cart and Excavator
• Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant
• Participate in daily toolbox talks
• Develop a thorough understanding of RGA WHS policies and procedures
• Follow all instructions from Quarry Manager.

Required skills and experience:

• Various plant experience including front end loader and excavator
• White Card
• Drivers licence
• Experience working in a quarry environment
• Relevant RII tickets, preferred not essential
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
