Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Cedar Creek, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Quarry Laboratory Technician to join our Northern Industries team. This hands-on role focuses on sampling quarry materials and performing testing to ensure quality and compliance on site.

You will conduct production and compliance tests on aggregates, soils, road base, and CTB, and input results into QESTLab. The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with engineers and technicians, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role with quarry materials sampling and testing.
• Experience with AS 1141 and AS 1289 test methods preferred.
• Ability to enter test results into laboratory reporting software.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Onsite sampling of quarry materials.
• Production and compliance testing for aggregates, soils, road base and CTB.
• Data entry of test results using lab reporting software.
• Equipment checks and calibration per procedures.
• Assist with lab mix designs/blends and quarry R&D to meet specs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environment requirements.
