Job summary

Regional Group Australia (RGA) is seeking an experienced Quarry Operator for the Ralston Quarry near Coonamble, NSW. The role covers mobile plant operation with front end loader, water cart and excavator, plus daily quarry operations and equipment maintenance.

You will perform pre-start checks, participate in toolbox talks, and adhere to RGA WHS policies while supporting the Quarry Manager. White Card, valid licence, and quarry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile plant including front end loader and excavator.
• Hold a White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
• Experience in a quarry environment is required or preferred.
• RII tickets are preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrates initiative and an organized, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Mobile plant operation including Front End Loader, Water Cart and Excavator.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks.
• Develop a thorough understanding of RGA WHS policies and procedures.
• Follow all instructions from Quarry Manager.
