Job summary

Riverlane invites students to join our Cambridge, UK office for a 10–12 week full-time internship in software development. You will work with a team of software and hardware engineers, mathematicians and quantum theorists, on a project to advance quantum error correction.

You will contribute to design, development and testing of software for QEC technology, gaining hands-on experience and mentoring, with a dedicated supervisor and opportunities to publish and present your work.

Qualifications

• Current student in technical field pursuing a degree.
• Studying CS, Software Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or related.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose language (coursework/projects).
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software for quantum error correction tech.
• Collaborate with software, research and other technical teams.
• Communicate work via discussions, presentations and reports.
• Learn about quantum computing and QEC applications.
