Job summary

Adbri Concrete in Darwin is seeking a Quality & Technical Specialist to influence product quality and customer outcomes across the Northern Territory. Based in Darwin, you’ll support Katherine and Alice Springs, working with customers, operational teams and external laboratories.

This role oversees QA/QC, analyzes results, supports mix design and process improvement, coordinates testing, conducts quality audits and provides technical guidance on site, with occasional night shifts and Saturday

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of concrete and/or aggregate testing and ability to interpret results for operational impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC across Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs operations.
• Review batch, testing and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support development of new mixes and optimise existing products and processes.
• Provide technical guidance to batchers and operational teams to maintain product standards.
• Coordinate external laboratory testing and manage results/databases.
• Conduct customer/site visits to provide technical support and build relationships.
• Investigate quality issues and provide practical solutions and guidance.
• Enter and maintain testing data in QestLab.
