Job summary

Adbri Concrete is seeking a Quality & Technical Specialist based in Darwin to oversee QA/QC and support major projects across the Northern Territory. You will analyze results, assist mix design, coordinate testing, and provide practical technical guidance on product quality for customers and operations teams.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, work with external laboratories, and visit customer sites to ensure high standards while collaborating with batchers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and concrete/aggregate testing.
• Ability to interpret results and advise on process improvements.
• Experience with Australian Standards and NATA is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel between Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC across Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs operations.
• Review batch, testing and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development of new mixes and optimise existing products and processes.
• Provide technical guidance to batchers and operations teams to maintain product standards.
• Coordinate external laboratory testing, scheduling, results and data management.
• Conduct customer and project site visits, providing technical support and building relationships.
• Investigate quality issues and propose practical solutions and guidance.
• Manage internal quality audits and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
• Enter and maintain testing data in QestLab.
