Job summary

MSA Safety in Sydney, NSW is seeking a QA/QC Manager to lead the site’s quality and EHS agenda. You will drive end-to-end quality management (supplier to customer), define QA processes, and ensure ISO9001 compliance.

The role requires hands-on auditing, problem solving with PFMEA/8D, and Kaizen-led improvements across manufacturing operations. You will oversee inspections, traceability, and customer quality notices, while mentoring a team and coordinating with global stakeholders to sustain high

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/QC management and related leadership roles.
• Familiar with ISO9001 audits and quality systems.
• Experience with internal/external quality audits and tool-based problem solving.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality and supplier quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to achieve EHS results and advance safety culture at ANZ site.
• Oversee end-to-end quality management from supplier to customer.
• Define and document QA systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage inspections, traceability, and compliance with standards.
• Drive continual quality improvement and address non-conformances.
• Lead supplier quality management and establish scorecards.
• Coordinate audits, corrective actions, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Provide guidance on EHS compliance and risk management.
• Prepare monthly corporate reports and liaise with global teams.
