Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking a qualified Quality and Safety Manager for our Baulkham Hills NSW manufacturing site. You will lead the QA/QC function end-to-end, including supplier quality, process quality, CQN handling, and ISO9001 system management, while also acting as the site EHS representative.

The role requires at least 5 years' QA/QC leadership experience, strong audit proficiency, and a Bachelor degree in Science/Industrial Engineering/Electronics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in the QA/QC management role.
• Be familiar with ISO9001, Internal and external audit, Quality control and analytical tools.
• Education: Bachelor with major in Science/ Industrial Engineering/Electronics.
• Travel: 5% as required by role.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to achieve EHS results and advance safety culture at ANZ site.
• Manage end-to-end quality management from supplier to customer including supplier quality, process quality, CQN, and ISO9001 systems.
• Define, document, and implement quality systems and procedures; ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee quality procedures and inspection/traceability for all products.
• Perform Quality Compliance inspections and drive continual improvement, non-conformance, and warranty claim handling.
• Lead supplier quality management including supplier audits and scorecards.
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers; deliver monthly reports.
• Act as site Health, Safety & Environment Representative for ANZ; support regulatory compliance.
