Job summary

Schindler Lifts Australia is seeking a Quality & Safety Coordinator to join our Alexandria, NSW team. You will support the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of Schindler's QMS and Safety Management System, working with Engineering, Installation and Service teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

This role suits a quality-focused professional who enjoys process improvement, stakeholder engagement and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Engineering, Quality Management, Safety Compliance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in quality, compliance or safety-related role.
• Experience within the lift industry, construction, manufacturing or a related technical environment highly regarded.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse information, identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Experience coordinating audits, corrective actions and compliance activities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System.
• Review and update quality documentation with process owners.
• Coordinate internal audits and compliance activities.
• Manage NCR and corrective action processes.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between quality and safety processes.
• Communicate quality and compliance outcomes with key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and customer experience.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to support quality, safety and compliance objectives.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement across the business.
