Job summary

Heathcote Health invites applications for the role of Quality and Risk Manager. The position provides leadership for the Quality Program, overseeing accreditation, clinical indicators, audits, incident management, policies, and risk compliance.

The successful candidate will supervise the Quality Officer and work with the Director of Clinical Services and Corporate Business to drive continuous quality improvement in a rural health service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Heathcote Health's Quality Program with the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Provide supervision and guidance to the Quality Officer.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and the Director of Corporate Business on risk and quality initiatives.

Position Title: Quality and Risk Manager
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Part time 64 hours per fortnight (Back fill 12 months Parental Leave)

This Role

Heathcote Health is an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, aged care, primary health programs and home-based services to Heathcote and surrounding districts.

Heathcote Health is inviting applications for an enthusiastic and experienced health professionalto fill the role of the Quality and Risk Manager for the organisation.

The primary purpose of the Quality and Risk Manager is to provide leadership and support for the Quality Program in conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team. Heathcote Health's quality and risk systems include accreditation, clinical indicators, clinical auditing, feedback management, policies and procedures, incident and hazard management, risk management legislative compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

The Quality and Risk Manager coordinates and oversees all quality-related activities in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services as well as overseeing all risk-related activities in collaboration with the Director of Corporate Business.

The Quality and Risk Manager is responsible for providing supervision and support to the Quality Officer.

The successful applicant must be able to work within a team environment with excellent communication skills along with knowledge of our IT systems.
