  • Review reports, documents and correspondence to maintain the highest service standards.
  • Conduct checks and file reviews at key milestones.
  • Recommend and drive projects that support continuous quality improvement.
Staff Development
  • Lead induction and orientation for new STAR Consultants.
  • Mentor and develop consultants alongside the Development Manager, WA Operations Manager and Team Leaders.
  • Coordinate and deliver training, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee STAR's university partnerships and student placements.
Investigations, Complaints & Feedback
  • Manage STAR's customer feedback process end-to-end.
  • Investigate and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections.
Business / Relationship Development
  • Support consultants and management in building and maintaining client and referral relationships.
  • Assist with tenders, quotations and requests for proposals.
About you

You're an experienced allied health or nursing professional with a passion for quality, compliance and developing high-performing individuals/teams. You'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Registered Nursing, or Chiropractic with current registration (e.g. AHPRA, ESSA).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in injury management, including exposure to complex claims.
  • In-depth knowledge of injury management, return-to-work and workers' compensation schemes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across regulatory bodies, insurers and partners.
  • Confident computer skills, including databases, Excel, and reporting tools (SQL/Power BI).
  • Proven ability to lead and build a high-performing individuals/team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict-management skills.
  • Resilience and sound judgement under pressure.
