Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead all Quality functions at the Maryborough Service Delivery Centre on the Fraser Coast. You will ensure projects meet safety, performance and compliance requirements and work with engineering, procurement and production to drive quality across the site.

This full-time, on-site role at Maryborough offers the chance to champion continuous improvement, manage the Quality Management System and deliver high-level reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years demonstrated experience in a Quality management role.
• Six Sigma or lean manufacturing qualification advantageous.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (Ideally rail, automotive or similar).
• Sound knowledge of quality management systems, processes and controls.
• Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams and across functions.

We have a rare opportunity available for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team at our Maryborough Service Delivery Centre on the Fraser Coast. Reporting directly to the GM of Projects & Delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring all projects are completed to a high standard.

You will lead all Quality functions within the facility, ensuring that products meet the requirements across safety, performance and compliance. You will champion continuous improvement and lead the Site Audit Program, complimenting and driving our high-performance culture.

Some accountabilities will include:

• Oversee all Quality Assurance & Quality Control processes
• Manage the Quality Management System
• Collaborate with internal functions such as engineering, procurement and production to drive holistic quality management

This is a fulltime, permanent role, based onsite at our Maryborough Service Delivery Centre.

About You:
