Job summary

Downer is seeking a Supply Chain Support to join our QTMP team in Australia. Reporting to the Procurement Manager - QLD, the role supports end-to-end supply chain activities across purchasing, logistics, warehousing and site support, working with internal teams and suppliers.

This entry-level role is full-time and based onsite at the Torbanlea Manufacturing Facility, with initial training at Maryborough Service Delivery Centre.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in supply chain, procurement, logistics or warehouse ops.
• Willingness to pursue qualifications in supply chain, procurement or logistics.
• Experience with receiving goods/services and stock handling.
• Experience using ERP systems for purchasing, receipting and inventory.
• Strong people skills and collaboration abilities.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Support person to join our QTMP team. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager -QLD, this new role will see you work closely with internal operational teams as well as a number of suppliers to support the end to end supply chain activities across purchasing, logistics, warehousing and site support.

We are seeking someone who is early in their career in procurement/supply chain management/logistics. This role will provide general support and be a bit of an 'all-rounder' to the supply chain team.

Some accountabilities will include:

• Sourcing and ordering materials
• Receiving and receipting goods
• Coordinating logistics
• Managing stock levels
• Ensuring efficient onsite vendor and consumables management

This is a fulltime, permanent role, based onsite at our brand-new Torbanlea Manufacturing Facility. You will spend the first few months based at our Maryborough Service Delivery Centre to complete training.

About You:

• 1+ years demonstrated experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or warehouse operations
• Willing to obtain qualifications within a supply chain & procurement, and/or logistics related discipline
• Experience in receipting goods/services
• Experience with ERP systems for purchasing, receipting and inventory management
• Strong people, communication and collaboration skills
