Job summary

Labourpower Recruitment Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee QA across multiple sites in the Campbelltown area. The role manages a team of 8 and drives compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP within a leading packaging & FMCG manufacturing environment.

The position is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a hourly pay rate of $55–$70. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with responsibilities including audits, NCR handling, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quality Manager in manufacturing/FMCG/pharma advantageous.
• Tertiary qualification in science or related discipline.
• ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP compliance knowledge.
• Quality Assurance experience and strong QA processes.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the QA System and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Lead Health & Personal Care QA departments and team of 8.
• Review and maintain quality documents, SOPs, and audits.
• Manage internal auditing and corrective action follow-up.
• Coordinate supplier/Sub-contractor quality assessments.
• Lead external quality and ethical audits and corrective plans.
• Develop quality objectives and training records.

My client is a global manufacturer of packaging & FMCG related products. Due to a restructure the are looking for a Quality Manager to oversee a team of 8. The role will look after a number of sites in the Campbelltown area. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person to join a market leading manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the Quality Assurance (QA) System and compliance to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Overall responsibility for Health & Personal Care Quality departments functions and personnel.
• Monitor all quality documents and ensuring they are reviewed routinely and current (including quality manual, policies, SOPs, OPLs, audits reports.)
• Overall management of the self-improvement (Internal auditing and follow up) program
• Ensure all assessing and auditing all Sub-contractors or Suppliers is scheduled and completed.
• Coordinate all held goods and rework.
• Ensure all Quality Alerts and Non conformances (NCRs) are recorded and properly investigated.
• Ensure investigation of all non-conformances with consultation from relevant departments, and overall maintenance of the NCR database is conducted.
• Lead all external quality and ethical audits then develop and follow up the corrective and preventative action plans.
• Develop Quality objectives and plans
• Ensure appropriate training and competency assessment is conducted, recorded & maintained.
• Ensuring all required quality records are being completed reviewed and maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as a Quality Manager in manufacturing, FMCG, pharma is advantageous
• Tertiary qualified in science or other similar discipline (preferred)
• ISO and HACCP compliance knowledge
• Quality Assurance experience
• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
