Job summary

Consulting Services seeks a Quality Manager to oversee a team of 8 across multiple sites in the Campbelltown area. The role is a temp-to-perm opportunity within a global FMCG manufacturer, reporting to QA leadership. Expect hands-on QA leadership, ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with a pay rate of $55-$70 per hour inclusive of casual loading. Location: Campbelltown Area; commencing ASAP.

Qualifications

• Quality Manager with manufacturing/FMCG experience advantageous.
• Tertiary qualification in science or similar discipline preferred.
• ISO 9001 and HACCP knowledge desirable.
• Quality Assurance experience required.
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) familiarity.
• Audit management expertise desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the QA System and ensure compliance to ISO 9001:2015 across sites.
• Lead Health & Personal Care Quality departments and personnel.
• Monitor quality documents and ensure reviews of manuals, policies, SOPs, and audits.
• Manage internal auditing and follow-up programs.
• Schedule and complete subcontractor/supplier assessments and audits.
• Coordinate holding, goods and rework processes.
• Record and investigate Quality Alerts and NCRs; maintain NCR database.
• Lead external quality and ethical audits and drive CAPA actions.
• Develop quality objectives and plans.
• Ensure training and competency assessments are conducted and maintained.
• Maintain all required quality records.

My client is a global manufacturer of packaging & FMCG related products. Due to a restructure the are looking for a Quality Manager to oversee a team of 8. The role will look after a number of sites in the Campbelltown area. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person to join a market leading manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the Quality Assurance (QA) System and compliance to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Overall responsibility for Health & Personal Care Quality departments functions and personnel.
• Monitor all quality documents and ensuring they are reviewed routinely and current (including quality manual, policies, SOPs, OPLs, audits reports.)
• Overall management of the self-improvement (Internal auditing and follow up) program
• Ensure all assessing and auditing all Sub-contractors or Suppliers is scheduled and completed.
• Coordinate all held goods and rework.
• Ensure all Quality Alerts and Non conformances (NCRs) are recorded and properly investigated.
• Ensure investigation of all non-conformances with consultation from relevant departments, and overall maintenance of the NCR database is conducted.
• Lead all external quality and ethical audits then develop and follow up the corrective and preventative action plans.
• Develop Quality objectives and plans
• Ensure appropriate training and competency assessment is conducted, recorded & maintained.
• Ensuring all required quality records are being completed reviewed and maintained.

Qualifications And Experience

• Previous experience as a Quality Manager in manufacturing, FMCG, pharma is advantageous
• Tertiary qualified in science or other similar discipline (preferred)
• ISO and HACCP compliance knowledge
• Quality Assurance experience
• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Audit management expertise
