Job summary

Evolve Scientific is seeking a Senior Quality Manager for a 6-month, full-time assignment based in Western Sydney. The role oversees 3 direct reports and reports to the Site Leader, coordinating daily quality operations and strategic QA initiatives on site.

The ideal candidate will have senior quality experience in the food industry, a food science or related degree, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive corrective actions and maintain QMS compliance.

Qualifications

• Senior quality role in food industry.
• Tertiary qualification in food science or related discipline.
• Previous people management experience is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven self-starter who enjoys a hands-on role.

Our client is a food ingredient manufacturer supplying B2B. They are seeking an experienced senior level quality candidate to step into a Quality Manager role for a 6-month period. This is a full-time, day shift role based in Western Sydney. The role will have 3 direct reports and will report directly to the Site Leader.

Duties

• Manage site operations and provide daily support from a quality perspective
• Lead customer complaint management and implement corrective actions
• Provide leadership and direction to the quality team members
• Oversee daily QMS activities – compliance with standards and polices
• Manage quality administrative duties related to reporting, auditing, documentation

Skills/experience

• Previous experience working in a senior level quality role in the food industry
• Tertiary qualifications in food science or a related discipline
• Previous people management experience is highly advantageous
