Job summary

Qantas is opening a new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide. We seek a Quality Engineer to shape high-quality digital experiences by embedding testing strategies, automation, and reliability practices across services and integrations.

You will work with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to design, automate, and execute tests, while advancing frameworks and tools for better performance and security. This role is full-time and permanent at our Adelaide centre.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering with hands-on automation testing across service integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with BDD, CI, Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Ability to define and execute test strategies validating end-to-end journeys, data flows, and integrations.
• Ability to implement automated test scripts for service integrations with focus on efficiency and repeatability.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Karate, Postman, and JUnit for testing.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, ESB, event-driven architecture, batch processing, and point-to-point integrations.
• Experience performing performance and load testing on integrated services.
