Job summary

Trojan Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence across the Breakers portfolio in the LAC region. You will lead customer quality, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver defect-free products.

This role requires 3–5+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing, strong root-cause analysis skills, and experience with ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA, Control Plans and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of electrical products, switchgear, breakers or power distribution is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer complaint investigations, 8D problem-solving and corrective actions through to closure.
• Drive quality improvements across manufacturing processes including FPY, non-conformance, scrap and CoPQ.
• Support quality systems, audits, supplier quality and NPI activities with ISO 9001 compliance.

Trojan Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to drive our clients product and process quality excellence across the Breakers portfolio in the LAC region. This role will be responsible for customer quality, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement and compliance, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, defect-free products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer complaint investigations, 8D problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions through to closure.
• Drive manufacturing and process quality improvements, including FPY, non-conformance, scrap, rework and Cost of Non-Quality (CoPQ).
• Support quality systems, audits, supplier quality and NPI activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards.

Key Requirements

• You will be required to undergo a police check before commencement and must pass with no disclosable court outcomes
• You will be required to undergo a Drug & Alcohol before commence

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years’ Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA, Control Plans and statistical analysis.
• Experience within electrical products, switchgear, breakers or power distribution is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across production, engineering, supply chain, suppliers and customers.
