Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional to join its team in Sydney. You will perform routine QA checks, ensure HACCP and GMP compliance, and document inspection outcomes with accuracy.

Working on the production floor, you will support internal audits, SOP maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold high quality and safety standards across the supply chain.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct routine quality assurance and food safety inspections throughout the production process.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with GMP, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform quality checks and accurately document inspection outcomes.
• Support internal audit activities and assist in preparing for external audits.
• Adhere to HACCP, GMP, and all food safety and quality management requirements.
• Assist in the review and maintenance of SOPs, work instructions, and quality-related documentation
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment in line with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and consistent product quality.

About You

You’re an organised and detail-oriented professional with a proactive approach to quality, compliance, and problem-solving. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and are comfortable working collaboratively with operational teams to maintain high standards.

We’re Looking For:

• Approximately one year of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, food manufacturing, or a similar environment.
• Sound understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Confidence working on the production floor and engaging effectively with production teams to promote quality and food safety standards.
• Knowledge of food quality systems and food safety principles.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete documentation to a high standard.
• Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
