Job summary

Perfection Fresh is a leading Australian fresh produce company based in NSW. We are seeking a Quality Assurance professional for a 6-month fixed-term role to conduct product quality assessments, ensure GMP/compliance, and support daily QA activities.

You will perform inspections, maintain QA documentation, deliver GMP training, and collaborate with RDC staff to uphold high standards across our supply chain in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assessments of incoming and outgoing products against customer specifications and required quality standards.
• Perform compliance checks in accordance with customer specifications, internal procedures and relevant standards.
• Conduct daily product retention, EOSL and shelf-life assessments.
• Complete regular site GMP checks to support GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements.
• Deliver GMP training and guidance to RDC and other staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Quality Assurance documentation.
• Conduct and record daily cool room temperature checks.
• Identify and report issues related to quality, technical principles, protocols or processes.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and other relevant activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities and recommend improvements to performance and processes.
• Manage assigned tasks and priorities in a professional, organized manner.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing stock to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assessments of incoming and outgoing products against customer specifications and required quality standards.
• Perform compliance checks in accordance with customer specifications, internal procedures and relevant standards.
• Conduct daily product retention, end-of-shelf-life (EOSL) and shelf-life assessments.
• Complete regular site GMP checks to support compliance with GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements.
• Deliver GMP training and guidance to Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) and other relevant staff.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate and up-to-date Quality Assurance documentation.
• Conduct and accurately record daily cool room temperature checks.
• Identify, report and escape any issues relating to quality, technical principles, protocols or processes.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings and other relevant activities as required.
• Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to improve team performance and operational processes.
• Manage assigned tasks and priorities in a professional, organised and timely manner.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing stock to ensure all required quality standards and customer specifications are met.

• Ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including repeated manual handling of loads up to 15–20 kg at heights between floor and shoulder level, with or without reasonable adjustment.
